晋城光机电产业发展应适应5G通讯时代，以光通讯、遥感技术、工业激光为主攻方向。在发展路径上，以科技加速（孵化）为基础、以专业运营团队为依托、以产业基地为载体，以政府推动、政策支持为支撑，以专业人才为保障，建设一个集加速孵化、人才培养、成果转化、产业集聚为一体的产业化园区，形成以光机电、大数据为主导的产业发展格局，进一步提升晋城科技创新力和经济竞争力。发展目标要按照支柱产业规模要求，力争五年实现产值占全市工业产值的10以上。

As for the development path, based on acceleration of incubation through science and technology, relying on professional operation team, taking industry base as the carrier, government promotion and policies as support and professional talents as the guarantee, it will build an industry park with integrated accelerated incubation, talents cultivation, achievements and industrial agglomeration and then form an industrial development pattern dominated by opto-mechatronics and big data, and further enhance Jincheng's technological innovations and economic competitiveness. The development goal should be in accordance with the requirements of the scale of the pillar industries, making the output value accounting for more than 10 of the city's industrial output value in five years.

晋城市政府制定出台了发展光机电产业“1+N”优惠投资政策，涉及资本金融扶持、投资奖励、经营奖励、能源补贴、人才奖励、技术创新奖励、产业集聚奖励、招商中介奖励、配套资金奖励、服务保障等各个方面。晋城经济技术开发区以晋城市大力发展光机电产业为依托，在金匠工业园规划了一平方公里光机电产业基地。首期200亩建筑面积20万平方米的厂房、公寓楼、办公用房已开工建设。

The first phase of constructions of 200 mu has been started including workshops, apartment buildings and offices with an area of 200,000 square meters.

已建成了5万平方米的科技企业加速（孵化）器、2785套14.1万平方米的公租房、6700平方米专家公寓和2.3万平方米的“双创”标准化厂房。

Some constructions have been built including 50,000 square meters of technology enterprises acceleratorof incubation,141,000 square meters of 2,785 sets of public rental housing,6,700 square meters of expert apartments and 23,000 square meters of "double creation" standardized factory buildings.
